Week 9

This week is Week NINE. This week we have the rest of our final formal assemblies. Monday is Sports, Wednesday is Cultural and Friday’s assembly is the biggest and longest - Merit / Awards assembly.

It is really important that you let your parents know that you are getting an award at these assemblies so that they can come and support you !!

Please remember on the days we have our formal assemblies that you sip water for all of block one, your morning tea has carbohydrates and protein in it and that you go to the toilet during morning tea. It is REALLY important that you do NOT have any extra singlets, shorts or tops on underneath your blue uniform.

On Tuesday we have our Kauri Team end of year celebration – a swim at the school pool followed by a Sausage Sizzle and whole team shared lunch. Please make sure you have your togs and bring a plate with some food on it to share.

Year 8’s have been given their invitations to the graduation social, which is next Monday night. You will need to purchase your ticket from the student foyer before school on Tuesday or Wednesday this week OR go and see Mrs J in the Foods room during a sportsbreak. All other information is in the notice. PLEASE make sure you read it carefully.

I hope that you are focused on achieving the goals you have set for the second half of the year and know exactly what you need to do to meet your goals. Remember to make the most of the opportunities given to you.
