Week 6

This week is Week SIX.

This week you will find out what Specialised Programme activity you will be doing next week. I know that you will have a great three days with your reliever while I am away at Sports Camp on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Make sure you make right choices and make me proud ! !

Good luck to Jewel, Sage and Tegan who will be at Sports Camp all of this week. We know you will give your best efforts and will represent Maeroa with pride.

We will be looking more into Communication as part of our Social Sciences unit. There will be some time for you to research a Communication tool of your choice to be able to explain how it works. Measurement and in particular time, is the main focus for Maths this week. We will be starting our Novel study for Reading. For writing we will be working on completing your descriptions of our trip to MOTAT.

Good luck to our Netball team who are playing Rm 11 on Wednesday J

We had a great trip to MOTAT last week, lots of photos were taken. It was really nice to have positive feedback from lots of you who didn’t want to come home when we did ! I am really proud of how you all behaved while we were there and you asked lots of really good questions.

Congratulations to Josh and Sage who were part of the Kauri Maths Competition team and came 2nd equal with Pohutukawa and Kowhai J A fantastic effort ! !

I hope that you are focused on achieving the goals you have set for the second half of the year and know exactly what you need to do to meet your goals. Remember to make the most of the opportunities given to you.

PE & ACTIVATE

Our PE days this year are TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY.

You are required to wear your PE uniform for these sessions. We will also be going out for Activate on Mondays and Thursdays, which means that your PE uniform should be at school 5 days a week, every week!
