This week is
Week ELEVEN. This week is
our last week of Term One! It’s hard to believe that this term is nearly over.
I hope you have had an enjoyable first term, have a relaxing holiday and come
back after two weeks holiday refreshed and raring to go.
Homework this
week will not be on this site but has been handed out to students. It is
different than our usual weekly homework J
This week we
have our school triathlon happening on Wednesday and six of our students are
participating. Way to go Sage, Tegan, Mckeilah, Josh, Aydian and Devon!!!!
On Wednesday
we also have our annual school spelling bee, congratulations to Sage and Jewel for
making it into the team. Congratulations also to Josh who almost made it in. We
are all very proud of you all.
PE &
ACTIVATE
Our PE days this year are TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY. For most of the first
term this means swimming and you are expected to have your togs with you on
these days. If for any reason you are unable to swim you must have a note
written and signed by your parents / caregivers.
As Term One goes on we
will be starting other PE lessons and you are required to wear your PE uniform
for these sessions. We will also be going out for Activate on Mondays and
Thursdays, which means that your PE uniform should be at school 5 days a week,
every week!
HOMEWORK
Tasks are given out on
Mondays and are expected to be completed and handed in on Fridays. You are
expected to complete 30 minutes of homework EVERY night.
