This week is
Week NINE. This week we
have our annual Cross Country happening on Thursday. You have been working hard
at training and I am really proud of how many of you are going to participate
in Course 3 this year – way to go J
Reports come
out on Friday and next week there are two days of Student Led Conferences.
Please make sure that you have made a time to come and meet with me on either
Tuesday or Thursday of next week.
Congratulations
to our class Football team who came 3rd equal !!! What a fantastic
effort by everyone who was a part of the Football team at some stage this term
– it is because of ALL of you that we came 3rd. This is the best
placing a Room 15 team has come in the lunchtime sports competition in a very
long time. I am looking forward to seeing this effort repeated for the Netball
competition which will be starting
shortly.
Thanks to
everyone who voted for Maeroa on the Easiyo website – we came FIRST !!!
This week we
are moving towards our Oratory unit with a reading aloud task that you need to
be working on for Homework. You will be presenting these to the class starting
on Tuesday. The details can be found on the class blog and a hard copy has been
given to those who don’t have internet access.
PE &
ACTIVATE
Our PE days this year are TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY.
You are required to wear
your PE uniform for these sessions. We will also be going out for Activate on
Mondays and Thursdays, which means that your PE uniform should be at school 5
days a week, every week!
