Week 8

This week is Week EIGHT. This week is a short week because of Easter. A reminder that school starts back NEXT WEDNESDAY J

This Thursday is the day that camp fees are due. The total cost of camp is $210. A letter came home today for those people who still owe money for camp. Thank you to those people who have paid for camp in full J

The equipment list for Camp can be found at the top of this site. A reminder that the full amount of $210 needs to be paid by the 28^th March.

 

PE & ACTIVATE

Our PE days this year are TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY. For most of the first term this means swimming and you are expected to have your togs with you on these days. If for any reason you are unable to swim you must have a note written and signed by your parents / caregivers.

As Term One goes on we will be starting other PE lessons and you are required to wear your PE uniform for these sessions. We will also be going out for Activate on Mondays and Thursdays, which means that your PE uniform should be at school 5 days a week, every week!

 

HOMEWORK

Tasks are given out on Mondays and are expected to be completed and handed in on Fridays. You are expected to complete 30 minutes of homework EVERY night.

Homework is due back by THURSDAY 28^TH MARCH.

Week 7

This week is Week SEVEN. This week we have visitors from Makuhari School in Japan. Please make sure that you include Katsu in your games and that you spend lots of time talking to him so that they can practise their English.

This Wednesday school will be finishing at 1.15pm so that some teachers can attend a Union Meeting. If you have not returned your form saying that you are allowed to go home on Wednesday then you will remain at school until 3pm and be supervised by teachers.

Thank you to everyone who has sold Easter Egg raffle tickets. However we do not have enough Easter Eggs to raffle off. It would really help if each person brought in one chocolate item to go in the raffle. If those items could be brought in as soon as possible, that would be really appreciated. THANKS TO SAGE, AYDEN, GRACE, BROOKE, MCKENZIE & CAITLYN for already bringing in some Easter goodies….. YOU GUYS ROCK J

Week 6

This week is Week SIX. This week we have visitors from Makuhari School in Japan arriving. There will be a whole school powhiri and we will be having at least 1 student in our room for the next couple of weeks. Please make sure that you include our Japanese student in your games and that you spend lots of time talking to them so that they can practise their English.

Camp forms are due in by FRIDAY 15^th MARCH. We only have 4 weeks left before going on camp and we need those forms so that we can identify people who have allergies and medical issues. A HUGE THANK YOU TO THOSE STUDENTS WHO HAVE ALREADY RETURNED THEIR FORMS – YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!! J

YEAR 7’S NEED TO BE BRINGING IN $10 FOR YOUR SPELLING UNDER SCRUTINY DICTIONARIES. THIS MONEY NEEDS TO BE IN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AS YOU NEED THEM FOR YOUR SPELLING TASKS IN CLASS.

Week 5

This week is Week FIVE. This week we have our school photos on Wednesday.

MCKEILAH, DANIELLE, GRACE & STACEY you have Immunisation Forms that need filling in and returning ASAP. Your form needs to be filled out even if you are NOT getting the immunisations.

Please keep sending in your Newsletter & SMP return slips. I AM STILL WAITING FOR SMP FORMS FROM KRISTIAN.
